• クロロホルム存在下で塩基と触媒量のパラジウム(0)錯体を用いることでトリエチルボランは芳香族アルデヒドと反応して、対応する1-フェニル-1-プロパノール誘導体を良い収率で与える。触媒を検討したところ、酢酸パラジウムとトリシクロヘキシルホスフィンの組み合わせが本反応に最も効果的である。Triethylborane reacts with arylaldehydes in the presence of a base and a catalytic amount of a palladium(0) complex with chloroform, affording the corresponding 1-phenyl-1-propanol derivatives in good yields. Of the catalysts surveyed, the combination of Pd(OAc)2 and tricyclohexylphosphine is the most effective catalyst for this reaction.
