Two new flavone glycosides, comanthoside A (I), C_<24>H_<24>O_<12>, mp 252-255°, and comanthoside B (II), C_<23>H_<22>O_<12>, mp 209-210°, have been isolated from fresh leaves of Comanthosphace japonica S. MOORE (Labiatae). The structures of I and II have been determined as 5,7-dihydroxy-6,4'-dimethoxyflavone-7-O-β-D-glucuronic acid methyl ester and -7-O-β-D-glucuronide, respectively. Compounds I and II were also detected in C. stellipila S.M. by PPC and TLC.
