概要

Kanzakiflavone-1 (III), C_17H_12O_7,mp 291-293°, a new flavone, has been isolated from the rhizomes of Iris unguicularis POIR. (Japanese name : Kanzakiayame) together with irigenin (I) and iristectorigenin A (II). The structure of kanzakiflavone-1 (III) has been determined as 5,8-dihydroxy-4'-methoxy-6,7-methylenedioxyflavone by chemical and spectral means.
