• A solvent effect in the oxygenation reactions of cis-stilbene in the mixed solvents, MeCN-C_6H_6,MeCN-CCl_4,and MeCN-CH_2Cl_2,catalyzed by a non-porphyrin iron(II) complex Fe(MeCN)_6・(ClO_4)_2 and tetraphenylporphinato iron(III) chloride, resulted in significant changes of the product ratio.
