To stttdy the confinetnent chararcteristics of diznensionally siu'zailar discharges (p' experinaents)in JT-6OU L-mode plasnaas, transport sirntrlations have been carried out with three dif['erenttransport models; i.e., the Bohuau-type, the Ctrrrerat-Difl'usive-Ballooning'lNzIode ancl the 1VIulti-IN/Iode rt'xodels. For all nuodels the electron tettaperattrre is in good agreeutaent (within 15% ita theelectron stored energy). If' the therzaaal dif['usivity of ions is arottnd txvo tinaes of' that of' electrons,it seeraas that the sin'xttlation restrlts cottld reproduce the experitnental ion tenaperattrre. XX7e haxzeconupared difl'tnsion coefficients to study the characteristics of' the p" sc?rling of each transportnaodel. In the Bohtau-type unodel it is found tluat the sirnu1?xtion restrlts yield the Weak-Gyro-Bohna characteristics for electrons and ions, even thotugh the Bohrn-type thernaal difl'trsivity isincorporated. This can be ?tccounted ['or by the f'actor q'/L7 in the difl'trsion coefficient. Inthe CDBIVI tnodel, the sitaatrlation restrlts clearly show the Gyro-Bohrn characteristics. In thelVItrlti-lVIode rrnodel, Gyro-Bohna characteristics is predicted in the sit'rrulation restrlts. Sinceexperimental resttlts have exhibited XX7eatk-Gyro-Bohtn characteristics, we cotrld concltrde thatthe Bohrn-type znodel which has been ernpirically developed in JET L-unode plasztaas naight beapplicable for JT-6OU L-rmode jclasnaas, as well, frona the x'iewpoints not only of' flue absoltrtevaltre of plasuna ternperattrres btrt also of' p" scatling.
