We studied the effect of the anisotropic crystal structure of TaSe. on its super-conducting properties. The upper critical field H.z was estimated from the resistivetransition curve as functions of the field direclxion and temperature. The largeanisotropy of H.. was found in the plane containing the #-axis and the normalof the (201) plane with the maximum along the Z;-axis. H... was also anisotropicin the plane perpendicular to the Z>-axis with the maximum along the c-axis.
