The photoelectron spectra of coronene and pentacene polycrystals have beenmeasured by the use of He I, Ne II and He II resonance radiations. The electronenergy structures of valence electrons of these crystals were determined over theenergy width of.about 17 eV. It was observed for coronene that the intensity of the photoelectron structuresslightly depends on the energy of the incident photon, and that the second peakhas two components which closely correspond to the molecular photoelectronstructures. The origin of the dependence and the importance of the observationof the resolved second peak were discussed.
