The parallel critical field H.3 to the film surface is calculated including the effect ofthe mass anisotropy for dirty superconductors. It is shown that H.. is larger near thetransition temperature T. and smaller at low temperatures than the perpendicularcritical field H.. to the film surface, if m.<<m77 where m. and mj are the effectivemass perpendicular and parallel to the film surface.
