For tlae su)cerconducting sujcerlattices xvhose diffusioza constaxat ch;vnges comatimau-ously, we study tlae upper critical field II.. amad its angular derivative cl H.. (0)/ d 0 at0=0, where O is tlae angle betweema tlae lad'or plane and tlae ajcplied maguaetic field. Thelatter quauatity SIIOWS whetlaer the order )carameter has a preferetttial pccsition relativeto the sample. From H.. and d7#..(2=0)/ d0, we discuss the difference of this modelfrom the naodel whose diffusioua constant changes discontiuauously at tlte interfacesand tlae Josephson couplixag model.
