The upper critical field H_<c2> and the k_2-parameter of a pure superconductor with the cubic crystal symmetry are calculated near the transition temperature. The result obtained for H_<c2> is in good agreement with the experimental result of Farrell et al. It is found that the direction of the induced magnetic field is not parallel to that of the external magnetic field applied in an arbitrary direction. Therefore, the k_2-parameter becomes a tensorial quantity. The ratio M_x/M_z is found to be about 0.015 at the reduced temperature t=0.7, where M_x and M_z are respectively magnetizations perpendicular and parallel to the applied external field.
