Contribution of T^2 Term to the Magnetization of a 35.4 at% Ni-Fe Invar Alloy

• the maaetization of a sinule crvstal of the 35.4 at '13 Ni-Be Invar allov hasbeen investisated between 4.2 K and 280 K in external fields up to 1.6.9 k0e toan accurac>r of about 5 rads in 10'. The srin-wave stiffness constant i?acIudinx itstemperature variation and the hisher-order term than the T"" term due to thespin-wave excitations are determined from only the data of magnetiz;mtion meas-urements. The observed decrease in masnetization excludinn the stcin-waveterm depends on T" and seems to be associated with the Stoner-tvtce excitations.The contribution of T" term is found to be as large as the spin-wave cc>ntribution.
