Doppler Broadening Measurement of Positron Annihilation in KCl and RbBr Crystals

Dor>r>ler broadeninu method of rositron annihilation radiation has been appliedto the study of anisotropies of morrmentum distributions for KCI and RbBrcrystals. Positron annihilation radiations were measured with a Ge(Li) detector.Anisotropies among the [100]j [1104 and [1114 directions were measured in detailfor the KCI and.RbBr crystals. The result shows that the observed anisotropiesare consistent with the theoretical estimates based on the Brillouin zone.
