Rotational Levels in ^<167>Tm and ^<171>Lu

Gamma-rays and internal conversion electrons from the ^<165>Ho(α,2n)^<167>Tm and ^<169>Tm(α,2n)^<171>Lu reactions were studied with a Ge(Li) detector and a beta-ray spectrometer. Excitation curves of these reactions were measured in the alpha-particle energies from 22 to 25 MeV. Rotational levels in the K=1/2^+ ground-state band of ^<167>Tm and the K=7/2^+ ground-state band of ^<171>Lu were assigned up to 23/2^+ levels, respectively.
