Electrical Conductivity of Liquid In_2Te_3,Tl_2Te,Tl_2Se and Ag_2Te at High Temperatures and Pressures

Electrical conductivity o of liquid semiconductors In.Te., T].Te, T].Se andAgzTe is measured up to ]500'C and up to 1000 bar. With increasing tem-perature, o for liquid In.Te. rapidly increases near the melting point and itstemperature derivative becomes extremely small above ll00'C, while the tem-perature derivatives for liquid Tl)Te, T1.Se and AgzTe are weakly temperaturedependent. This difference is discussed in connection with the bonding characterof constituent atoms in the respective systems.
