Electrical Properties of Expanded Liquid Se and Its Dilute Mixtures Containing Te and S

The electrical conductivity o and the thermoelectric power Q of liquid Se andits dilute mixtures with 1 at.%Te and S have been measured up to 1700'C andup to 1000 bar. The volume derivatives of o and Q for liquid Se estirnated by therecent density data have kinks around I300'C. It is concluded that thc+ appearanceof the kinks is associated with the delocalization of the gap state in fa'vor of highlycoordinated structure. It is found that there is a large difference in the constantconductivity curves on the P-T plane between liquid Se and the mixture with 1at. %S.
