Time Dynamics of Solitons Photogenerated in Disordered Linear Lattice

To investigate the nature of the nonequilibrium kinetics of solitonic excited states in one-dimensional materials the whole course of photogeneration and decay reactions of hι → A + A → 0 in disordered linear chain lattice is examined numerically. It emerges that the time evolution of photogrowth as well as decay is very sensitive to random disorder of the lattice. In addition, as the lattice disorder develops, the equilibrium density of solitons scales still more sublinearly with the pumping intensity.
