Symplectic Basis for Constructing Intrinsic Wave Functions of the Three-Body System : Nuclear Physics

We show a method how to construct symplectic basis functions and their matrix elements of operators in a three-body system by using a technique of the Sp(4, R) generating functions for the intrinsic degree of freedom. In this approach, we discuss asymptotic wave functions of the breathing mode and basis functions of a (1 +2)-cluster channel.
