On the basis of the O(4) symmetry, a quartet kaon (K^+, K^0, L^^-^0, L^-) and its chargeconjugate multiplet (L^+, -L^0, -K^^-^0, K^-) are deduced. We start by assuming the mass degeneracy of the four components with regard to the strong interactions and obtain two kinds of the mixture states by introducing in the O(4) space the respective two kinds of the weak interactions, one being symmetric and the other symmetry violating. We could thus find a solution which enables us to account for the strangeness oscillation, charge asymmetry of K_<l3> decays of the neutral kaon and the beat phenomena of the 2π decays without assuming the CP violation. However, in this solution, r≡(K_s→2π)/(K^0all) coming from K^0 produced by π-p→K^0Λ should be 1/4.
