KN Algebra Derived from Virasoro Algebra with Vertex Operators : Particles and Fields

By using the Virasoro algebra with vertex operators we derive the Krichever-Novikov (KN) algebra with vertex operators on higher-genus Riemann surface Γ. We find that the cocycles x_<ij> appearing in the KN algebra do not have the Schwarzian connection. The "interacting" BRST charge and its associated algebra on Γ are also given.
