A quantitative discussion is given concerning to what degree it is plausible to regard a particle as a composite one in the sense of the non-relativistic quantum mechanics of particles (the "Compositeness"). For this purpose we calculate the probability that the system is in a state that cannot be regarded as a system of the constituent particles distributed with some probability densities. The main conclusion is that such a probability is proportional to the square root of the binding energy.
