The ambiguity caused by the Fierz identity in the usual auxiliary field method is criticized. A generating functional is constructed for the Green functions of the quark currents which are directly related to the collective motions. The ambiguity is eliminated by preserving the invariance under unphysical replacement of the coupling constants. An effective lagrangian for the bosonic system is then derived as usual. If qq and q^^-q^^- modes are included, there arises another ambiguity due to the operator ordering.
