Sum rules based on Khuri amplitudes are applied to KN and ππ scatterings. Disregarding the Pomeranchuk contribution, according to a presently accepted philosophy of Harari et al., we show that P′, ω, ρ and R trajectories are degenerate, i. e. α_p′(t)=α_ω(t)=α_ρ(t)=α_R(t) for any t. If the secondary meson trajectories exist, they also should make a quartet of the above type, i. e. α_p"(t)=α_ω′(t)=α_ρ′(t)=α_R′(t) These conclusions are obtained even when the Schmid duality does not hold.
