A ΣN Bound State and the K^-d→Λpπ^- Reaction

We calculate the Λp invariant-mass distribution in the K^-d→Λpπ^- reaction. It is shown that the second Λp enhancement just below the ΣN threshold is mainly due to the ΣN bound state, which is in the ^3S_1 state with the"binding energy" 〜3 MeV, very similarly to the deuteron, and is little mixed with theΛp state. The first Λp enhancement just above the Λp threshold is explained by both S- and P-wave contributions of the YN two-channel interaction. It is also shown that in the intermediate region between both thresholds the P-wave contribution is main.
