Studied in this paper are the optimal H_2 integral servo problems for linear oscillatory systems via the constraints of the derivatives of state variables added to the standard constraints. It is shown in the paper that the derivative state constrained H_2 integral servo problems can be reduced to the standard H_2 control frames with modified controlled output. It is also shown that the solution to the modified standard H_2 control problem has salient features for damping oscillations in oscillatory systems. The main result follows after the Lemma for standard H_2 integral servo problems in measurement feedback form. The schemes proposed are verified through a simple illustrative example.
