On the Region of Adiabatic Confinement of Plasma in the TBS Type Magnetic Field

The so-called TBS Type Magnetic Field has a minimum-B geometry, so that stable confinements would be expected. To define a region of the plasma confined in this field spatial distributions and time variations of plasma densities are observed by means of double probe method. The effective region for a confining space is surrounded by the maximum gradB, not in a whole magnetic well of the minimum-B geometry. And in this region the plasma is stable, however, in the region between the maximum gradB and a top of the magnetic well plasma is unstable.
