Interaction of a Steady Plasma Stream with a Rotating Dipole Magnetic Field

A steady plasma stream was injected into a rotating dipole magnetic field, and the ion fluxes of the plasma stream were measured with a Faraday cup on the magnetic equatorial plane. The qualitative results are as follows; 1)the ion fluxes in the rotating field are shifted in the direction of the rotation of the dipole field in comparison with these in the static field. 2)the plasma stream in the dipole field is influenced by the space potential of the plasma to the electric potential of the magnet.
