The vanadium contents and 50% inhibiting concentrations of K^+-dependent phosphatase activities were screenized on several kinds of bovine serum albumin to study the Na^+, K^+-ATPase inhibiting factor in the albumin. The vanadium contents and enzyme inhibiting abilities of albumin showed a good correlation, and the previous suggestion that the inhibiting factor in the albumin might be vanadate was further ascertained.
