Oscillations and Fluctuations in the Lotka-Volterra model are investigated by the method of system size expansion. Fluctuations around the most probable path show an anomolous behavior: Time-evolution of envelope functions of the fluctuations becomes very fast indicating rapid diffusion in populations of the species.
