On the Singularity in Anderson Model. I : Role of Shadow Anomaly

In order to examine Kondo-type anomaly in Anderson model when the condition 2E+U=0 holds, a direct perturbational expansion of the t-matrix with respect to V_<sd> up to sixth order is performed. In contrast to the calculations made by Hamann, we must retain Coulomb correlation energy U as a finite value for this purpose. Our final result indicates that the anomaly is present under the condition 2E+U=0, while there are many theories which find no anomaly at this point. A detailed discussion of this situation is given.
