We herein reported on two male patients with writer's cramp, who suffered from dystonic involuntary movement while writing and were successfully treated. We hypothesize that their symptoms had changed from their original state due to faulty learning when trying to overcome their writing difficulties. Treatment by biofeedback therapy later enabled them to learn the proper relaxation of muscles, which allowed us to analyze their original symptoms. In the next step, they re-learned writing skills under the guidance of biofeedback, and were finally able to control their dystonic movements. The successful treatment of these cases proved that some patients with dystonic writer's cramp can be cured.
