Production of Phosphoenolpyruvic acid from glucose by dried cells of Debaryomyces coudertii IFO 1381 was studied. About 40-50 μmol/ml of phosphoenolpyruvic acid was produced after incubation for 8 h in the presence of ATP and high phosphate concentrations.
