Flux Flow Transport Properties and Peak Effect in a CeRu_2 Single Crystal

We have measured the electrical resistivity and Hall resistivity in the flux flow state to in-vestigate the superconducting mixed state properties in a CeRur single crystal. We found thatthe peak effect, disctrssed in relation to the Fulde-Ferrel-Larkin-Ovchinnikov (FLLO) phases,persists up to a higher temperature than that reported previously based on magnetization andelastic measurenaents, which contradicts with the original FFLO theories. We have estimated thepinning force density from the dependence of the fltrx flow transport properties on the currentdensity. We also report the normal state transport properties and the magnetization and cornpare them with those given in a recent report in which possible mtrltiple phase superconductivitywas proposed.
