Behaviour of Magnetic Susceptibility in CaCu(CH_3COO)_4・6H_2O at Low Temperature

The magnetic susceptibility of CaCu(CH_3COO)_4・6H_2O has been measured down to 27 mK. The Weiss temperature θ_<c⫽>=-43±4mK, θ_<c⊥>=-48±4mK, and T(x^<max>_<c⫽>)=39.0±0.7mK, T(x^<max>_<c⊥>)=41.0±0.7mK. The result us that of a spin S=1/2 and the two-dimensional nearly-Heisenberg antiferromagnet.
