Magnetic Susceptibility Measurements for Ni_XCd_<(1-X)>(NH_3)_2・Ni (CN)_4・2C_6H_6

The magnetic susceptibility was measured for Ni.Cd(.=,(NH.).?Ni(CN).?2C6H6 series from .x=1.0 to .x=0.36. The Weiss temmperature for each x wasdetermined in the temperature region between 14 K and 20 K. It varies linearlywith x within the experimental error. The N<Sel temperature T.(,v) was definedfrom the inflection point of zT curve. Thus obtained 7'y(,r) agrees very well withthat determined from specific heat measurement above .x.=0.65. The x. is thecritical concentration at which the phase transition point disappears at finitetemperature region. [7',{..(susceptibility maximum) - T.1 increases with decreasingof x and has the extreme at x. in x.<,v<l. This result shows that the short rangeorder in I>7'N(,X') develops by the effect of the magnetic dilution in ,r.<,v< l.
