Anomalous Magnetism of UPt_3 : The Possibility of Oscillating Antiferromagnetic Moment

UPt3 exhibits a paradoxical behavior in its antif'erronuagnetisna. Narnely, the neutron scatteringexperiments surely detect the antifferotmagnetic ordering below the transition temperature T? x5 K, while no trace of the transition is seen in the NIVIR experiraaents and in the specific heatat T?. For resoltrtion of' tlais paradox, xve propose the "SDW state" wltich oscillates witla afinite frequency larger than those of the NIVIR and smaller than those of the neutron scattering.For denaonstrating such possibility we seek the divergent point of susceptibility, and of['er aprelitninary calctrlation of the frequency dependence of "uaaagnetization".
