Experimental results on the variation of various physical properties inBi...Pb...Sr.., ,La..,Cu,..,O. with varying y through the superconducting andnonsuperconducting metallic p hase boundary are presented. The magnetic susceptibil-ity at fixed temperatures is monotonous functions of )'. The Hall coefficient does notindicate even a weak tendency of the sign change at the boundary.
