Multiplicity of gamma-rays from the fission fragments was measured in the<z-induced fission of "'Th, at the beam energy of 30 to 65 Men. Incident energydependence of 7-ray multiplicity as a function of fragment mass was obtainedat each incident beam energy. Dependence of 7-ray multiplicity on the beamenergy was compared with a classical calculation of transfer of angular momentum.Possible causes of the difference of the multiplicity between the symmetric andasymmetric mass region arc discussed,
