In the 2s exciton absorption region, remarkable oscillation structures withthe energy interval of the LO phonon have been observed on the luminescenceexcitation spectra. The oscillation structures for Is free exciton luminescence,[. luminescence and impurity luminescence are in phase with one another, and thestructures for o luminescence and 77 luminescence are also in phase with eachother. The structure for the former group is, hc>wever, out of phase with thestructure for the latter group. These two series of the oscillation structures arediscussed by introducing several relaxation proces;ses of 2s hot excitons, such ascascade relaxation, self-trapping and interband scattering, ctnd the rates of theprocesses are estimated.
