Two types of unusual behaviors in tunneling characteristics in sputtered Nbflints have been observed. The first, there exists an additional peak in the phononstructure for junctions with well defined energy gaps. The second, oscillatorybehaviors in the tunneling resistance versus voltage have been observed forjunctions with poorly pronounced energy gaps. Some possible explanations forthese results are described in comparison with recent experiments. Effect ofobserved dilated lattices on the superconducting transition temperature is alsoreported.
