The fluctuation conductivity above T. (paraconductivity) in niobium thin films withnormal-state sheet resistances 7<)' of 20 to 300 O / S(4 was measured as a function oftemperature. Results were analyzed in terms of tone Aslamazccv-Larkin and MakiThompson theories to determine values of T. and the pair-breaking parameter (>.These theories account well for experimental data at temperatutes not too close to T..Just above T., there is evidence that i strongly depends on the tccmperature. Relationsamong T., (>and 7?;' are discussed in the light of theories of weak localization effectson superconductivity.[paraconductivity, superconducting fluctuation, Anderson localization, pair- ll breaking parameter, niobium filmsl
