Appearance of a Maximum of T_c and a Large Negative dT_c/dP in the Superconducting Tl-Ba-Ca-Cu-O Compounds under Pressure

The pressure dependence of T. for the superconducting '[1-Ba-Ca-Cu-O corn-pounds has been measured. It is found that the pressure coefficients of T. inTl.Ba.CaCu.O. change the sign from positive to negative with a maximum T. andthat the highly hole-doped Tl.Ba.CuO. compounds show a large negative value ofdT./ dP. These results revealed a new feature of the pressure dependence of 7'.in thehole-doped superconductors and can be interpreted speculatively in terms of the holeconcentration in the Cub. planes assuming fl?at the carrier concentration isredistributed with pressure.superconductivity, pressure effects, copper oxides
