A theory of the electrical resistivity of amorphous n?etals is presented. Anharmonicityof the lattice vibration brings about the movement of the equilibrium positions ofatoms as the amplitude of the lattice vibration becc>mes large. As a result the latticebecomes less distorted. It is predicted that the resistivity dec?'eases with increasingtemperature in proportion to 1' at low temperatures and to 7' at high temperatures.
