Magnetic Impurity Effects in Kondo Superconductor, La_3Al(Ce)

Several physical properties in the normal and superconducting La_3Al(Ce) systems have shown the interesting anomalies associated with the Kondo effect. La_3Al(Ce) system shows a resistance minimum characterizing the Kondo effect. The depressions of the superconducting transition temperature T_c and specific heat jump ΔC due to addition of Ce impurities show the marked deviation from the Abrikosov-Gor'kov theory. The magnetic impurity dependence of depressions of T_c and ΔC is explained well except for the low temperature region by the Muller-Hartmann and Zittartz theory for T_K/T_<c0>=1/4, where T_K is the Kondo temperature and T_<c0> is T_c for La_3Al. Experimental behaviors of the upper critical field and electronic specific heat will also be discussed.
