In the preceding paper [K. Aizu: J. Phys. Soc. Japan 35 (1973) 1704] a group-theoretical interpretation was made of faintness index of a degenerate set of soft vibrational modes. In the present paper firstly the concept of "situations of a ferroic" is studied and then a group-theoretical interpretation is made of faintness index of a ferroic phase in one situation. A few examples are presented.
