The phase transition trnden' jcresstrre Jlp to 1 GPa in a relaxor-Plc(In) /2N1)l /2)03 (PIN) singlecrystal was unvestugated by X-ray difl'raction. XVitIa increasing applied presstrre, the integratedintensity of' the (3 2 0) Bragg reflectioua increases and th?tt of' the (3 2 O) difftrse scsrtteringdisappears, itnplying that the plaase tr?tnsition occurs f'rott? tlae relaxor phase to the nortnalf'erroelectric phase.
