A Choice of Expansion Parameter and Higher Order Corrections in QCD

The scheme dependence of the perturbative QCD is investigated to find out the best convergence. Our criterion for the convergence is to require the magnitude of the residual term to be smaller than the statistical errors of the data. The criterion is applied to the deep inelastic lepton-nucleon scattering process.
