A recipe to realize the optimum choice of the renormalization scheme (RS) is presented in the perturbative QCD. The optimum RS(ORS) is the scheme in which the residual terms of a truncated expansion is minimized. Hence, the ORS depends on the physical quantity in question. The recipe tells us how to determine the scale parameter Λ by analyzing the data on one quantity and how to predict the other once Λ is known, by selecting their own ORS's. For illustration, analyses have been done according to the recipe for two model-physical quantities in the second-order approximation which are quite suggestive for the real problem.
