Bias-Free Determination of Δ(1232) Pole Position

A stabilized bias-free method for pole-search is applied to the Δ(1232). The pole position predicted is (1210.0±1.5)-i(50.5±1.5)MeV. For the confirmation of validity and ability of the method, it is also applied to a pole model and to a no-pole one with a resonating phase shift. We show that the method works well to locate the pole for the former and to manifest the no-pole nature for the latter.
