We analyze the QCD effects in the R-ratio. We consider their renormalization scheme (RS) dependence. We cannot fix the scale parameter from the second order analysis for any choice of the RS, because of the large third order correction term. We obtain an upper bound of the scale parameter as Λ_<<MS>^^^->≦280±^<270>_<170> MeV. We show that it is possible to fix the scale parameter from the third order analysis and it may be a certain value satisfying Λ_<<MS>^^^-><170 MeV except for the large negative fourth order correction term.
