Phenomenological Analysis of the Asymptotic Behavior of the Nucleon Electromagnetic Form Factor

The recent SLAC data on the proton electromagnetic form factor G(t) at large momentum transfer is analyzed from a phenomenological point of view using the form g(t)=C_1|t|^a×exp(-C_2|t|^b). The best fit region of a and b is determined and the results are compared with several models for g(t).
